Why is measuring part of the design?

The April developer log describes an approach where clothing adapts to the body. The simplified measurements drive mannequin setup and drafted pieces. That principle explains why fit has its own stage instead of every customer wearing a single standard form.

Why do fabrics look different?

The team describes distinct shaders for silk and velvet highlights, then a redesigned inventory preview to make those differences clearer. Treat these as visual material choices, not evidence that real-world cloth physics are fully simulated.
