Missing panels: six checks before starting over

A missing section does not automatically mean you need to start the dress again. First follow the piece from design to cutting, inventory, placement and sewing. It may still be waiting at an earlier stage.

Follow the panel through six checks

  1. Was the intended component selected in the sketchbook?
  2. Was its pattern actually cut?
  3. Is a piece still in the cutting area?
  4. Does it appear in inventory?
  5. Is it on the correct part of the mannequin?
  6. Are there unsewn seams at the front, back or sides?

Stop at the first missing step and investigate that step. This is a diagnostic order, rather than a claim that every blocked project shares one cause.

Have a piece but cannot place it?

Build 410 adds a mannequin-position hint when you hover over a panel in inventory. Use that hint before guessing from the outline. A complicated component can involve several similar panels; visible dress sections are not a reliable inventory count.

Half-sewn dress or genuine blockage?

An early Steam discussion describes players overlooking seams on other views. Inspecting all sides is useful, but rotation advice in that thread conflicts, so follow your current interface.

If pieces are present and the seam check still does not resolve it, record the build, project, last action and a screenshot. A reproducible report is more useful than an undocumented save edit.
